Subject: Meeting with the bookeeper & CPA

February 14th, 2001, Nancy and I had a meeting with the bookkeeper & CPA from Wegner LLP in Baraboo.
Before the meeting, Nancy had created deviation reports on all seemingly erroneous items or transactions. The following was agreed upon during the meeting:
- All assets will be grouped into 4 main categories, Gardens, Hydroponics, Outreach, and Administration.
- All assets below USD 100 will be expensed out.
- The books will be matched with the reconciled bank statements by the bookkeeper every quarter.
- Some incorrect postings by the previous TT Treasurer as well as the bookkeeper were agreed upon how to solve. (E.g redeposited petty cash not recorded correctly, a cash account which was really an expense account, compensation recorded as credits instead of debits etc.)
All matters at hand were resolved during the meeting.
For the future operation, it was agreed that the interface between the TT Treasurer & the bookkeeping service will be slightly modified, so that the technical implementation will be determined by the bookkeeper, while the treasurer will classify all expenses etc. into the appropriate projects.
